Help Us Help Animals.

Animals are often forgotten in natural disasters. Humans are helped by other humans to fight or flee, and native animals are often left to fend for themselves, and often unable to run away to safer land, as man-made fences and barriers block their path to safety. Many animals can outrun fire, or find shelter from raging bushfires, but end up without food sources and without desperately needed water. Pets and livestock may also need help as homes and farms are destroyed by fires, droughts, floods, and more. Many animals need human help after disasters.
